Dr. Shyama Charan Mandal
I am a postdoctoral researcher in SUNCAT, Stanford University, USA in the field of computational chemistry. I have completed my PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore), India under the supervision of Prof Biswarup Pathak (Thesis title: Mechanistic Investigations of CO2 Hydrogenation Reactions Using Homogeneous/ Heterogeneous Catalysts). Currently, I am working in the field of thermal catalysis and trying to develop effective computational tools for the understanding of the catalytic activity of heterogeneous catalysts with Senior Scientist Frank Abild-Pedersen at SUNCAT.
