Dr. Shyama Charan Mandal
I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the SUNCAT Center for Interface Science and Catalysis, Stanford University, USA, specializing in the field of computational chemistry. I earned my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore), India, under the guidance of Prof. Biswarup Pathak. My doctoral research, titled "Mechanistic Investigations of COâ‚‚ Hydrogenation Reactions Using Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Catalysts," focused on exploring reaction mechanisms to advance catalytic science. At present, my research at SUNCAT is centered on thermal catalysis, where I am working under the mentorship of Senior Scientist Dr. Frank Abild-Pedersen.
