Dr. Shyama Charan Mandal
I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the SUNCAT Center for Interface Science and Catalysis, Stanford University, USA, specializing in the field of computational chemistry. I earned my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore), India, under the guidance of Prof. Biswarup Pathak. My doctoral research, titled "Mechanistic Investigations of CO₂ Hydrogenation Reactions Using Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Catalysts," focused on exploring reaction mechanisms to advance catalytic science. At present, my research at SUNCAT is centered on thermal catalysis, where I am working under the mentorship of Senior Scientist Dr. Frank Abild-Pedersen.
